Rising Australian star Daniel Arzani has been taken from the field on a stretcher after he was injured during his first-team Celtic debut on Thursday morning.

Arzani, who joined Celtic on a loan deal from Manchester City this year, had come on as a substitute in the 57th minute of the Scottish Premiership match against Dundee.

But in the 78th minute, a stretcher was needed after the 19-year-old  went down off the ball clutching his knee.

Arzani had been playing well for Celtic in his short time on the pitch before the injury, and his injury left the Hoops a man down for the remainder of the match.
