In AFL news on Sunday, the failed score review at the MCG on Saturday, which arguably cost Collingwood victory against Fremantle, came about because of a technical failure, according to the AFL.


Replays clearly showed that a third term goal kicked by Dockers star Michael Walters had been touched off the boot by Magpies wingman and former Fremantle player Chris Mayne during the clash at the MCG.
