Jeremy Cameron booted another five goals as Greater Western Sydney extended their winning streak over fellow AFL expansion outfit Gold Coast to seven games with a cruisy 83-point victory on Saturday.
The Giants slammed on nine goals in a brutal final term to register a handy percentage-booster against the Suns, who kicked just three majors after quarter-time and were never in the game.
Stephen Coniglio was superb, gathering 36 disposals, laying on eight tackles, kicking three goals and setting up four others in a virtuoso performance from the off-contract superstar. He ran the show in midfield alongside Josh Kelly (36 touches, five clearances), while Cameron fed off their work to solidify his leadership in the Coleman Medal race. He now has 38 goals for the year.
The Giants finished up with 151 more possessions and 17 more inside-50s than Gold Coast, who made a competitive start but were ultimately embarrassed. From four visits to Olympic Park in their short history, the Suns now have copped four defeats at an average of 96 points.
