Police said an altercation took place and two of the men, aged 27 and 37, were stabbed.

Detective Inspector Chris Lawson said emergency services were called to the residence with reports of injuries, and police arrived to a “horrific scene”.

“To arrive there and find two people, you’re talking about the dead of night where it’s totally dark, people with those sort of injuries in the middle of the street – it’s something that will obviously affect those who attended and provided first aid,” he said.
