Either Geelong or stay at Swans for Gary Rohan, says manager

In 2018 a mixture of form, injury and personal tragedy restricted him to 11 games. He did not feature in the back end of the season, including the club’s elimination final loss to GWS.


Geelong have shown interest in him in the past and he will likely join the club along with Luke Dahlhaus from the Western Bulldogs, who is also a former Falcons TAC Cup player.


Gieschen also manages Swan Dan Hannebery, who is likely to be traded to a Victorian club, with St Kilda leading that race. Hannebery and Rohan are still contracted to the Swans.


Gieschen also gave an update on GWS’ Rory Lobb and Melbourne’s Dom Tyson.


“Dom has predominantly played his best footy as an inside mid [but due to others’ form] he has been pushed out to the wing,” Gieschen said.
