Children of infamous Aussie jihadi Khaled Sharrouf alive and in camps in Syria

Canberra: The three surviving children of Australian terrorist Khaled Sharrouf are being held at a northern Syrian refugee camp after leaving Islamic’s State’s last stronghold in Baghouz before it was overrun by Kurdish fighters.


Zaynab, 17, who has two small children and is pregnant with her third, her sister Hoda, 16, and their brother Hamza, eight, are all in the Kurdish-controlled Al-Hawl camp, according to reports.

Another eight oher Australian women and their children are also in the camp.


Sharrouf’s two sons, Abdullah and Zarqawi, are believed to have died aged nine and eight, respectively, alongside their father in a US air strike as they travelled in a car near Raqqa, Syria, in 2017.
