Mr Ho said his Hong Kong-based company Melco, which operates casinos in Macau and Manilla, has a database of wealthy Chinese customers that could be used by Crown to build its Asian high-roller business.


Crown and Melco previously operated an Asian joint venture but Mr Packer sold out to Mr Ho in 2017 in the aftermath of a clampdown by Chinese authorities in October that led to more than a dozen Crown staff being detained for alleged gambling crimes.
