Three NBL greats were also named to the Basketball Australia Hall of Fame: Illawarra legend Glen Saville, NBL games record holder Tony Ronaldson and Adelaide legend Brett Maher.
Melbourne coach Dean Vickerman won the Lindsay Gaze Trophy as NBL coach of the year after leading his club from outside the finals to the top of the ladder while Sydney centre Isaac Humphries took rookie of the year.
Adelaide’s Ramone Moore won best sixth man, Perth’s Damian Martin was named defensive player of the year yet again while New Zealand’s Shea Ili took most improved player. Adelaide’s Mitch Creek won the fans’ MVP.
Cotton, Conger, Ware and Boone were joined in the All-NBL first team by Adelaide’s Daniel Johnson while the All-NBL second team included New Zealand’s Edgar Sosa, Perth’s Jean Pierre Tokoto, Creek and Wesley.
