“The physical scars they’ll heal, the emotional ones will take a little bit longer.


“He remembers everything up until the point where he passed out. The rest of it is on [CCTV] footage.”


Mr Clark – a father of five – said he was contacted about 6am on Sunday about his son.


He said it was a call no parent ever wanted to receive.


“It was a bit of a shock, it’s not the phone call that any parent wants to get,” he said.
