Up to fourteen other people were injured, including Feeney’s fellow passengers: his 20-year-old friend Mark Johan; Mark’s 18-year-old girlfriend Grace, and Mark’s 19-year-old brother Matthew Johan.

The three teenagers, along with the 57-year-old male driver of the vehicle, were rushed to Liverpool Hospital for surgery on Friday and remained in a critical condition on Saturday, a hospital spokeswoman said.

A female passenger travelling in another car was also seriously injured.

On Sunday, police charged a 26-year-old man from Mt Annan, who was also injured, with 13 offences including manslaughter. He will appear via bedside court hearing at Parramatta Local Court.
