'Alarming': Man stabbed in 'road-rage attack' on Sydney motorway

Police said the incident began when the 42-year-old drove his Toyota Hilux from Richmond Road, Glendenning, onto the south-bound lanes of the M7 motorway.


A short time later, the driver of an orange coloured Toyota Corolla threw something at his vehicle.


The two vehicles stopped and the drivers had a brief argument, before the driver of the Corolla pulled out a knife and stabbed the Hilux driver to his abdomen, police said.


The driver of the Corolla then got back into his vehicle and sped off in the south-bound lanes on the M7, police said.


Sergeant Steve Vuletas described the incident as “alarming” .
