The Storm will also be hoping prop Tim Glasby can recover from a concussion which ruled him out of the game before half-time.


The Storm went into the game with their longest outs list of the season Billy Slater, Cameron Munster, Brodie Croft, Suliasi Vunivalu, Will Chambers, Nelson Asofa-Solomona, Brandon Smith all injured or unavailable.


Munster and Croft were game-day withdrawals after failing fitness test for minor knee problems while Ryan Hoffman returned from a hamstring injury playing the last 24 minutes.


The Storm had plenty of unfamiliar faces but they didn’t lack for urgency or application in the opening minutes.
