Farmers will auction off top quality bull semen to raise money to power a campaign against the Queensland government’s vegetation management laws.


The genetics fundraiser sale, to be held in Rockhampton next month, will feature semen donated from about eight high-priced bulls, with each package expected to sell for “upwards of $10,000”.

A group of farmers has banded together to campaign against the Palaszczuk government’s vegetation management bill, with plans to launch a four-minute video and website on Thursday afternoon to spread their message to city people living in Brisbane.


A True Story: From The Heart of Queensland features interviews with farmers, figures and beautiful landscape shots, in a professionally produced video.


A Facebook page for the cause received more than 2610 likes in a few days, and has been shared by politicians, including LNP leader Deb Frecklington.
