'Out of character': Search underway for Sydney teen missing since last week

Police are searching for a 15-year-old girl who went missing from Sydney’s north shore last week.


Gabrielle Lopes Cardozo was reported missing by her family after she did not show up at school on Friday.


Also known as Gabi, she was last seen at Artarmon Railway Station on Thursday night.


Gabrielle Lopes Cardozo has been missing since last week.

“Police and family hold serious concerns for her welfare, as her disappearance is out of character,” NSW Police said in a statement.


The statement said, “she is described as being of South American appearance, about 175cm tall, with light brown hair”.



The boy escaped with no major injury.

“She was last seen wearing a blue dress with white and pink writing, white shoes and black jacket with a school logo.”
