A man has died and another two men have been injured after a boat capsized in waters south of Sydney.
The boat capsized off Cape Solander at Kurnell on Friday morning with two male passengers managing to swim to nearby rocks but a third male was unable to be revived after being rescued from the water.
The two men are in a stable condition with one suffering a severed thumb, NSW Police say.
When their condition allows, officers from the Marine Investigative Group will speak with the other crew members to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
Earlier Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopters carried out the rescue and tweeted: 2nd male with serious limb injuries from base of cliffs.”
